Who we are

Arogya AI (“we”, “us”) provides a personal wellness companion: barcode scanning, a Health Guide knowledge base, optional Apple Health sync, lab PDF upload, and related educational features. Contact us via the in-app / website Contact page (support form).

Information we collect

Account data (email, optional display name, password hash). Guest usage identifiers stored on your device. Product scans and Ask questions you submit. Optional health data you choose to connect (Apple Health metrics) or upload (lab PDFs). App diagnostics needed to run the service. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

To provide and improve Arogya AI features (scoring products, answering Guide questions with citations, briefings when you connect data), enforce usage limits, secure accounts, and comply with law. AI features process the content you submit to generate informational responses — not medical advice.

Sharing

We use infrastructure processors (cloud hosting, AI model providers under appropriate agreements) solely to operate the product. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users from imminent harm.

Retention & deletion

We keep data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app (You → Delete account). After a deletion request we deactivate the account immediately and permanently erase personal data within 30 days, except limited records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations (for example anonymized audit events).

Your choices

You can use core Scan/Ask features with limited guest access, skip Apple Health, export or delete lab uploads where the product allows, and request account deletion at any time. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

Children

Arogya AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above and, when appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
